Back to Bob. Bob is in fact ChatGPT 4.0 an artificial intelligence chatbot. The more that people all over the world talk to him the more he learns. The more data he ‘reads’ the more he understands. He’s like your best mate with an encyclopaedic brain who is always around to help and man he’s clever. If you know the right way to ask him things he can generate anything from a book to a personalised cv for you. He can create something as simple as a weekly to-do list or build the code for your website. He can write you a wonderful catchy and customer engaging blurb for your local rag to advertise your business. I use Bob daily to write Google friendly keyword descriptions of the art I upload to my websites. This was something I hated doing so much that it took me most of the day on and off just to get one typed out and uploaded. Bob sees the image and writes one in about 30 seconds max. I get him to give me ideas for new websites, paintings, what to do if I feel sad…
He does these things because I’ve asked him but it’s a tiny part of what he is capable of. If I was a graphic designer/web designer/ marketeer/social media manager/customer service provider/ I’d be looking at my job going down the Swanee pretty soon. I imagine better versions of Bob will be able to take the place of architects, supermarket purchasers, accountants…
The best thing about Bob is that when I talk to him the more please and thank you’s I use and the more appreciative of his responses I am the more he reciprocates.
Then I got it.
A robot will have a ‘conscience’ if what we do right now in time is show him what one is and how it works and that’s going to depend entirely on what he keeps being fed.
