I read the news and I despair, again. I have never seen a government so willfully determined to destroy the aspirations of so many people in order to maintain their basic ideologies. They are pulling the carpet out from under the very people that sustain this country. That create the jobs and the wealth that will be spent to keep an economy going. Do they suppose the people unfortunate to be the lowest on the ladder of minimum wage income will contribute to the massive black hole of debt? The people on benefits? The illegal economic migrants? if they take everything from the middle classes whom do they think will be left to flourish a healthy economy?
It’s like spite and vengeance. A disregard for common sense in order to maintain their socialist face and socialist principles. They are going to bleed the country dry. Let’s face it if you have money why would you stay here? To be taxed on everything you earn, your pension and leave to your children. A country with a depleted NHS, little policing and insubstantial armed forces.
And of course this: Total Cost per Person (Including Support)
Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) reports that the total cost per asylum seeker per year has climbed from £17,000 in 2019/20 to around £41,000 in 2023/24—mostly due to the reliance on hotels.
That annual figure equates to approximately £3,400 per month.
I can find this on a simple google search. It’s a dizzying amount. A massively disgusting figure to spend on a young man from a not too far away country looking for an easy ride and an adventure when we can’t afford to provide dentist’s for our children. Remember when the kids got free school milk? That was us oldies a long time ago. We were lucky.
The labour party remind me of a children’s ward in a mental health hospital: giddy, argumentative, delusional and psychotic in their observation of reality. Plucking away at the only people that keep their country growing whilst encouraging the scroungers and the low lives and the champagne socialists spouting bollocks and snorting coke on their £600 per week pensions.
Meanwhile our prime minister worked hard to get to his current salary:
A recent estimate places his net worth between £1 million and £7.7 million, reflecting income from his legal career, property, savings, and public salaries. Politics.co.uk+13Reddit+13The Times of India+13The Times of India
Another source suggests a figure closer to £3 million, based on real estate holdings and pension assets. Finance Monthly
