The things I remember

A Quiet Riot With Words & Art

Memories that come with music

HonestInk,

Continuing on the subject of my latest obsession with selling on Vinted I can advise that Joe Browns fitted sheets, Clairefontaine Pastelmatte artboard, size 10 jeans and Somerset Studio magazines tend to sell within 15 minutes of listing. Mind you I don’t ask a lot of money I just want rid.

Tonight I thought I’d start on the vinyl albums and listed Quadrophenia. Not the far superior original I might add but the film soundtrack. I have a feeling that sis bought this but as I’ve carted everything from Wilson Pickett to Jimmy Osmond and the rest to every address I’ve moved to for the last forty years so I reckon it’s mine to sell now. Within 10 minutes a buyer is asking it it’s play tested and I’m like erm no. What was I even thinking?

So I went on to the Argos website and paid the grand sum of £23 in the sale for a Bush Classic Turntable in a ‘Wooden case with leatherette finish and headphone socket.’ And I can’t believe how excited I am to go get it tomorrow.

But will I sleep for the next week and how much wine will I drink? I don’t care, Scratched or not I simply can’t wait to peel the actual real vinyl out of it’s cover and breathe in every memory with it.
