The things I remember

A Quiet Riot With Words & Art

HonestInk,

Yesterday I was a Bus Wanker and had a nice little trip into Ilkley to select the colour of the new bottom gnashers at the dentist. The most loveliest and gentle lady got on in Silsden and sat next to me and we put the world to rights in a quiet way as we sat in the never ending roadworks. When we got off she reached to give me a hug and I hugged her back warmly. It was beautiful and unexpected and lovely and I hope I see her again one day.

On the return journey my debit card wouldn’t work. It actually had a crack in it. The driver was a bit grumpy so I said I would sort out how to pay on my phone before I got off and went and sat down.

That thing that the kids do where they show their phone to the machine and it beeps and all is good? Well just fuck off. Just fuck right fucking off.

Nothing worked. Apparently I wasn’t connected to the internet though I could see which flip flop wearing tard had turned over it’s bmw this week on the T&A online, no problem.

Apple wallet, Google pay, paypal. Nothing would connect. I felt stressed and migrainey and stupid. As I stood to get off at my stop I was apologising like a fool and the driver was fine and told me not to worry but always carry some money because other drivers might not be so easy going.

I thanked him profusely and called him a legend ffs. I meant it.

The amount was £2.50. And therein lies the meat and potatoes of this little story. It’s a nothing amount of money but it bothered me that I couldn’t pay. I got myself massively stressed trying to figure out a way to digitally pay…

Meanwhile government wages are rising this month to a bit less than 100 grand. It’s not only ludicrous for what they do, it’s obscene. I’m glad everything is going to pot. The kids running riot in Clapham last weekend. The kids stabbing each other for silly little kid reasons. It’s what happens when there’s no discipline permitted from parents or schools or police. The rape in broad daylight of 12 year old and 70 year old females is what happens when you let any man that feels like it walk in from a middle eastern or african country completely unvetted. It’s been awhile but the last time I went abroad I queued for fucking ages through passport control. Maybe you don’t anymore?

…and now we have this Iran thing which I do agree with but we are fucked again with what is going to be massive inflation and everyone just struggling to keep their heads above water.

Meanwhile they are taking Shakespeare off the shelves of some schools because it might offend.

1984 because it might enlighten.

Carry heat spray ladies and bide your time because it’s not long coming.
